Me time, something that most of us don’t focus enough of our time on unfortunately, yet it’s something that’s so important for mental health.

Today I got my hair done for the first time in months, and treating myself to that little thing has just made the world of difference today. I left the salon with a new do, blonde roots and confidence I didn’t have when I walked in.

Sometimes we forget that just the little things make the largest impact on us. After moving out little things I’ve had to give up like having my nails and eyebrows done are some of the things I miss doing the most. Just having someone else pamper you and letting the world stop for a couple of hours, letting everything that runs at 700mph and causes life’s stress fall into the background.

I say this, but currently I'm sat writing this whilst on the way to a party because I had a little too much me time, which can be a bad thing when it means you don't actually get everything that you wanted to get done.
